Best for
Small firms already on Lexis, or litigators who want Shepard's checks built into AI research and drafting.
Watch out for
LexisNexis says it never uses customer data to train AI models. A peer-reviewed Stanford study of the earlier Lexis+ AI found it the most accurate legal tool tested but still not hallucination-free, so a Shepard's signal is a starting point, not a substitute for reading the case.
